An Min-seok: "Dismissal Decision Marks the Arrival of the Lee Jae-myung Era"
Democratic Party Rep. An Min-seok SBS Radio Interview
"Yoon Must Apologize Immediately, Han Dong-hoon Should Resign"
"'Cha Do-sal-in' Pro-Approval Faction Must Be Disciplined"
Democratic Party lawmaker Ahn Min-seok evaluated the court's dismissal of the arrest warrant for Democratic Party leader Lee Jae-myung as "a decision by the court to stop the Yoon Seok-yeol prosecution regime's attempt to kill Lee Jae-myung and suppress the opposition party."
On the 27th, Ahn appeared on SBS Radio's 'Kim Tae-hyun's Political Show' and said, "This could have been handled with a non-custodial trial, but they created this chaos in the country and politics, causing the disappearance of politics. I believe responsibility must be held for this." He added, "First, the president must immediately apologize for driving the National Assembly and political situation into ruin, and Minister Han Dong-hoon, who pushed for the arrest warrant and the consent to arrest, should resign."

Regarding the so-called approval faction lawmakers who voted in favor of the consent to arrest Lee, Ahn emphasized that political responsibility must be held. He said, "The essence of this incident is a political assassination attempt using the power of the People Power Party to bring down the party leader," calling it "a betrayal in politics that must not be tolerated."
On measures to resolve the internal party conflict caused by this, he said, "There are two perspectives: to identify and discipline the approval faction, and on the other hand, to reconcile and resolve conflicts." He added, "I believe the party members' demand to hold the approval faction accountable through disciplinary action is reasonable."

He continued, "However, the problem is that since the vote was anonymous, there is a dilemma about whether it is possible to identify the approximately 30 lawmakers who voted in favor," adding, "Nevertheless, there are already five or six lawmakers who have admitted to voting in favor. If these lawmakers do not reflect on their actions, I personally think disciplinary action will be inevitable."
