Ottogi announced on the 26th that it has launched two types of 'Fish-shaped Pastries Filled to the Tail,' which can be enjoyed deliciously and conveniently at home.
Considering the continued high demand for fish-shaped pastries, a popular street snack, the company explained that they have developed these pastries as convenient ready-to-eat products so they can be easily enjoyed at home.
The newly introduced fish-shaped pastries filled to the tail come in two varieties: 'Red Bean Fish-shaped Pastry' and 'Custard Cream Fish-shaped Pastry.' They are filled from head to tail with red bean paste and custard cream, respectively. The red bean pastry uses sweet, smooth red bean paste that can be enjoyed without becoming cloying, while the custard cream pastry features premium custard cream, offering a soft and luxurious taste.

The frozen pastries can be cooked by placing them in a preheated air fryer at 180 degrees Celsius for 9 minutes. An Ottogi representative said, "Considering the high demand for fish-shaped pastries, a representative street snack often sought after in so-called 'Bungse-kwon' areas, we have launched a convenient ready-to-eat fish-shaped pastry that can be easily prepared and enjoyed at home." They added, "We hope people enjoy these fish-shaped pastries filled to the tail with red bean paste and custard cream as a snack."
