Which Korean Car Brand Is Ranked 'No.1 in Satisfaction' by Indian Dealers?
Hyundai Motor Company has been selected as the No. 1 brand in satisfaction by Indian automobile dealers.
Hyundai announced on the 26th that it was chosen as the No. 1 brand in the general passenger car category in the 2023 dealer satisfaction survey conducted by the Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations (FADA) targeting Indian dealers.
Hyundai scored 852 points out of 1000, overwhelmingly surpassing Maruti Suzuki, which ranked second with 791 points. This score also significantly exceeds the industry average of 769 points in the general passenger car brand category. The Indian local brand Mahindra & Mahindra ranked third with 774 points.
The survey was jointly conducted by FADA and Frimon Asia, a consulting firm with offices in Singapore and India. It covered 1,821 dealers across five categories: general passenger cars, premium passenger cars, two-wheelers, three-wheelers, and commercial vehicles.
The survey items consisted of six categories: business sustainability and management policies, warranty and after-sales service, sales and order planning, dealer job skill enhancement training, products, and marketing.
Hyundai plans to sell 800,000 units annually in India and achieve a 20% market share by 2030 through five strategies: qualitative growth, becoming the most trusted brand, intelligent manufacturing, evolution into new businesses, and strengthening its role as a hub for emerging markets.
Meanwhile, Hyundai has been selling various locally strategized models in India since launching the Santro in 1998, including the i10, i20, Creta, and the entry-level sport utility vehicle (SUV) Exter released last July, achieving annual sales of over 400,000 units since 2014.
