Veteran Heo In-hoe achieves a ‘resurrection victory.’ On the 24th, at the iMBank Open of the Korean Professional Golfers' Association (KPGA) Korean Tour (total prize money 500 million KRW), held at Gyeongbuk Chilgok Pamihills Country Club (Par 71, 7,194 yards), he fired a 9-under-par round in the 4th round to claim a commanding 4-stroke victory (20-under-par 264). This marks his 5th career win, coming 2 years and 4 months after the 40th GS Caltex Maekyung Open in May 2021, with a winner’s prize of 100 million KRW.

Heo In-hoe started tied for the lead by 2 strokes alongside Byun Jin-jae and Yoon Sang-pil, showcasing perfect play with 9 birdies and no bogeys. He broke away from his competitors with three consecutive birdies on holes 13 to 15 in the back nine and celebrated his victory with a birdie on the 17th hole (par 4). Heo In-hoe changed after getting married in 2016. He practiced diligently and became one of the friendliest players to fans.
