Gyeonggi-do River Construction Site Wage Arrears Inspection to Begin
Gyeonggi Province will conduct an inspection of wage arrears at 12 local river maintenance project sites directly managed by the province until the 25th of this month, ahead of the Chuseok holiday.
To this end, Gyeonggi Province has formed an inspection team consisting of construction project management groups from each site.
The inspection team will investigate ▲the status of unpaid wages for construction workers ▲the payment plans for progress payments by the primary contractors ▲the payment plans and submission of supporting documents for progress payments such as equipment and material costs by subcontractors. Additionally, they will review the current status of site safety management to strengthen safety measures.
