Reducing Holiday Burden... Homeplus Launches '2023 Chuseok Wipungdangdang Project'
Homeplus announced on the 21st that it will carry out the ‘2023 Chuseok Proud Project’ until the 27th to reduce the shopping burden for customers preparing for the holiday and family gatherings.

First, ‘Nonghyup Safe Hanwoo All Items’ and ‘Canada Pork Belly and Neck Raised on Barley’ will be offered at up to 40% discount for My Homeplus membership members. Ribs, which are commonly eaten during the holiday, can be purchased at a low price through the ‘Homeplus Galbi Universe’ event. For My Homeplus membership members, ‘U.S. Choice Grade Steamed Ribs’ and ‘Australian Grain-fed Refrigerated Steamed Ribs’ are discounted by 40%, and ‘U.S. and Australian Frozen LA-style Flower Ribs’ are discounted by 10,000 KRW.
To prepare a Chuseok table without price burden, vegetables and fruits for ancestral rites are also offered at discounted prices. My Homeplus membership members can purchase them at a 20% discount by applying agricultural and livestock product discount coupons. Products eligible for the agricultural discount coupon include ‘Sangju Fresh Dubak Potatoes (2kg)’ for 4,792 KRW, ‘Medium Onions’ for 3,992 KRW, ‘Peeled Garlic (1kg)’ for 7,992 KRW, ‘Large Pears and Apples (3 pieces)’ for 15,992 KRW, and ‘Fresh Jujubes (400g)’ for 5,992 KRW. On the 21st and 22nd, ‘Fresh Special Eggs (30 pieces)’ will be offered for 5,990 KRW.
Convenient holiday foods that make it easy to set up the ancestral rites table are also prepared. ‘Homeplus Table Japchae and Assorted Jeon’ are sold for 6,990 KRW and 9,990 KRW respectively, with a 10% discount when purchasing two or more. ‘Homeplus Signature Convenient Holiday Foods 10 Types,’ including mung bean pancakes, five-colored songpyeon, and omisanjeok, are offered at a 10% discount for My Homeplus membership members. Additionally, ‘Three-colored Namul (Bracken, Bellflower Root, and Aster)’ is priced at 9,990 KRW, and ‘Five Types of Dried Vegetables’ are sold at 11,990 KRW with a buy one get one free offer.
In addition, a ‘Chuseok Kitchenware Brand Fair’ is held for customers preparing holiday dishes. Popular kitchenware such as Homeplus Signature, Tefal, Portmeirion, Denby, Glasslock, Corelle, and Debi Mair Chef Line frying pans, tableware, and storage containers are sold at up to 50% discount, and gift certificates up to 10,000 KRW are given depending on the purchase amount. For children’s gifts during the Chuseok holiday, the ‘Toy Adventure Land Chuseok Toy Fair’ offers a 10,000 KRW gift certificate when paying 70,000 KRW or more for event toys with eight major cards.
