Gangnam-gu (District Mayor Jo Seong-myeong) held a 'Chuseok Agricultural, Livestock, and Seafood Direct Market' at the district office parking lot at 10 a.m. on the 20th to celebrate the Chuseok holiday.
The market, attended by about 80 farms from over 50 locations nationwide, sold holiday ritual items such as Korean beef, pears, apples, and dried persimmons, as well as high-quality local specialties like dried yellow corvina, abalone, and mushrooms at prices 5-30% lower than the market price.
Despite heavy rain on the day of the market, people lined up with umbrellas to purchase holiday ritual items.
