On the 20th, the Ministry of Justice carried out a personnel transfer for 667 prosecutors, including 631 prosecutors at the senior prosecutor level and 36 general prosecutors, effective from the 25th.
In this personnel reshuffle, among the four deputy chief prosecutors of the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office, only Ko Hyung-gon, the 4th Deputy Chief Prosecutor who leads the Anti-Corruption Investigation Division, was retained, while the 1st to 3rd Deputy Chief Prosecutors were replaced.

Kim Chang-jin, Director of the Prosecutor's Office at the Ministry of Justice, was appointed as the 1st Deputy Chief Prosecutor; Park Hyun-chul, Spokesperson of the Supreme Prosecutors' Office, as the 2nd Deputy Chief Prosecutor; and Kim Tae-eun, Director of Public Investigation Planning at the Supreme Prosecutors' Office, as the 3rd Deputy Chief Prosecutor. Bae Moon-gi, Head of the Inspection Division 3 at the Supreme Prosecutors' Office, was appointed as the 2nd Deputy Chief Prosecutor of the Seoul Southern District Prosecutors' Office.
