The police urgently arrested Hong in front of a restaurant in Sinsa-dong, Gangnam-gu, after analyzing CCTV footage. At the time of arrest, Hong was unable to control his body properly due to drug intoxication. A rapid drug test showed positive results for Philopon, MDMA (Ecstasy), and Ketamine. Hong visited a dermatology clinic in Nonhyeon-dong just before the incident and went to a hospital in Sinsa-dong after fleeing. It was reported that he received sedation anesthesia at the hospital.
