"130,000 Won Abalone for 30,000 Won Range"... Suhyup Joonganghoe Offers Additional Discounts on Chuseok Seafood
Suhyup Shopping, a domestic fresh food specialty shopping mall operated by the National Federation of Fisheries Cooperatives, has increased its discount rate by an additional 10% about a week before the Chuseok holiday.
On the 20th, Suhyup Shopping announced that it will provide discount coupons (up to 20,000 KRW) with an increased discount rate from the existing 20% to 30% in the ‘2023 Korea Fisheries Grand Festival Chuseok Seafood Discount Event’ until the 28th of this month.
With this government discount support aimed at stabilizing prices during the Chuseok holiday and promoting seafood consumption, combined with Suhyup Shopping’s own discounts, customers can purchase seafood at special prices. For example, Wando live abalones (1.5 kg, 20 pieces), normally priced at 135,000 KRW, can be purchased for 36,260 KRW after applying the 30% discount coupon to the Suhyup Shopping discounted price of 51,800 KRW. In this case, the discount rate reaches 73% compared to the regular price.
