Pyeongtaek Port Authority to Hold Blood Donation Event at Marine Center on 18th... Tenant Companies Also Participate
The Gyeonggi Pyeongtaek Port Authority held a blood donation event for its employees and the employees of companies located in the Pyeongtaek Port Marine Center.
On the 18th, Pyeongtaek Port Authority announced on the 19th that it jointly hosted the blood donation event with the Korean Red Cross Gyeonggi Blood Center on a blood donation bus in the Marine Center parking lot.
This blood donation was the third of the year, conducted to contribute to stabilizing the blood supply in response to the decreasing eligible donor population due to low birth rates and aging, as well as to fulfill its social responsibility as a public institution.
Kim Seok-gu, President of the Pyeongtaek Port Authority, said, "It may be a brief moment for someone, but it can be a precious spark that saves a life for someone else. Going forward, the Gyeonggi Pyeongtaek Port Authority will continue to carry out blood donation campaigns as part of realizing ESG management values."
