BPA Rowing Team Wins Medals at 'Hwacheon Peace Cup National Rowing Competition'
The Busan Port Authority (BPA) rowing team competed in the "17th Hwacheon Peace Cup National Rowing Competition" held in Hwacheon, Gangwon Province, from the 16th to the 18th, winning medals in two events: the coxless pair and the quadruple sculls.
In the coxless pair event, rowers Cho Sun-hyung and Kang Han-na recorded a time of 8 minutes 00.81 seconds to win the gold medal, while in the quadruple sculls event, Cho Sun-hyung, Choi Su-jin, Kang Han-na, and Son Hyo-jung recorded 7 minutes 12.03 seconds to win the silver medal.

View original imageThe BPA rowing team placed 4th in the lightweight single sculls, failing to win medals in all events for the fourth consecutive competition, but improved their times by 26.91 seconds and 0.71 seconds in the coxless pair and quadruple sculls events, respectively.

The BPA rowing team is scheduled to compete in their final water race of the year at the 104th National Sports Festival, to be held in Jangseong, Jeollanam-do, starting October 14.
