Opening of Partner Company Capacity Building Training Center This Year
LG Innotek announced on the 18th that it received the highest grade in the '2022 Win-Win Growth Index Evaluation' by the Win-Win Growth Committee. It has maintained the highest grade for seven consecutive years since 2017.
LG Innotek has engaged in win-win cooperation activities such as ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management, education, and financial support for its partners. Since last year, CEO Jeong Cheol-dong has been promoting the 'CEO Partnership Day,' visiting partner companies. Based on his experience as Chief Production Officer, CEO Jeong toured partner production sites and offered valuable advice. Yoo Je-wook, CEO of LMDigital, who participated in the Partnership Day, said, "CEO Jeong sincerely considered mid- to long-term win-win plans with partners, which was reassuring." CEO Jeong’s efforts are creating synergy with the existing business-specific partner win-win program, the 'Win-Win Growth Camp.'
The company stated that it is steadily promoting ESG support for partner companies. The partner ESG support project has entered its second year this year. It involves evaluating labor rights, ethics, safety and health, and environmental management levels of partners, improving issues, and raising ESG standards. LG Innotek supports ESG for about 20 partner companies annually.
Partner employee job training has been strengthened. In particular, the number of online learning programs has been significantly increased from 365 to over 3,000. Starting this year, the online education program has been fully opened to employees of companies that do not have a business relationship with LG Innotek. From the fourth quarter, a partner capacity-building training center will be opened in Gyeonggi-do to support partner production capabilities and quality improvement.
Financial support activities are also underway. A Win-Win Growth Fund worth 143 billion KRW is operated. It helps provide management funds loans at interest rates lower than commercial banks. This year, the fund size was increased by 40 billion KRW compared to the previous year.

CEO Jeong said, "The reason we have been able to maintain the highest grade in the Win-Win Growth Index for seven consecutive years is that we recognize our partners as true partners and have continuously supported the improvement of their production capabilities and quality. We will continue to maintain a progressive relationship with our partners to create differentiated customer value."
