Uiseong-gun, Gyeongbuk Province (Governor Kim Jusu) announced on the 18th that it has received the '2023 Youth-Friendly Legislative Award Grand Prize' organized by the corporation 'Youth and Future.'
The award ceremony held on the 16th took place at the Culture Square in Yeouido Park, Seoul, during the '7th Korea Youth Day Commemoration Event 2023.' 'Youth and Future' is a corporation affiliated with the National Assembly Secretariat that evaluates government youth-related policies and proposes alternatives.

The award's significance is further enhanced as the youth, the policy beneficiaries, directly select and present the awards.
Uiseong-gun received high praise for actively implementing youth policies to strengthen youth activities in various fields such as start-ups and jobs, housing, culture, and arts, including the establishment of a dedicated Youth Policy Division this year.
Additionally, at this award ceremony, about 20 young people from Uiseong-gun voluntarily participated, presenting a congratulatory bouquet to Governor Kim Jusu and holding placards while cheering for the award, attracting the attention of other participants.
