Gangseo-gu Jinro Festival 'DreamJOB·Hakbumo JinroJOB' Event Held on 22-23 This Month
Gangseo-gu, Seoul, will hold the ‘10th DreamJOB’ and the ‘6th Parents CareerJOB’ at Banghwa Neighborhood Park from the 22nd to the 23rd. The event is a career festival organized by the Gangseo Career and Job Experience Support Center to provide students with broad experiential opportunities outside of school, helping them find their ‘dreams’ and ‘talents’ and choose their career paths.
This year’s event theme is ‘DREAM RUN.’ The ‘DreamJOB’ will be held on the 22nd from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., targeting about 3,000 first-year middle school students under the free semester system in the area, while the ‘Parents CareerJOB’ will take place on the 23rd from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., targeting about 2,500 local elementary students and their parents.
Based on four areas?Finding Myself (Exploration), Developing Myself (Growth), Beautiful World (Experience), and Leading the Future (Imagination)?117 institutions including local public organizations, schools, and private businesses will participate, operating over 160 experience booths.
A distinctive feature is that these four areas are integrated with future new industry types, allowing participants to directly and indirectly experience an advanced future society.
Among the participating institutions, Korea Airports Corporation will provide education related to aviation security, Korea Humanoid Business Cooperative will showcase artificial intelligence robot technology, Gangseo Starlight Astronomy Museum will introduce the world of science and astronomy, and the Korea Youth Robot Federation will present autonomous vehicles and virtual reality. Additionally, unique programs such as robot performances, laser survival programs, VR fusion sports, and traditional folk game events will be offered.
