Pre-Inspection of Dams and Reservoirs Underway
Ulsan City Waterworks Headquarters announced on the 14th that it will implement water supply measures to provide stable tap water to citizens during the Chuseok holiday.
The headquarters formed an inspection team of 68 members in 19 groups to conduct preliminary inspections from the 14th to the 22nd at 171 locations including dams, water purification plants, pumping stations, and reservoirs.
Facilities requiring repairs based on the inspection results will undergo immediate maintenance work by staff and partner companies.
In addition, a "24-hour Water Supply Situation Room" will be operated to prepare for any emergency situations in water supply that may occur during the Chuseok holiday period.
