According to the Ringo Awards website on the 12th, "Lore Olympus" triumphed over six nominees including "The All-Nighter," "The Guy Upstairs," "I Love Yoo," and "You Were My Joker That Night" to receive the honor. The Ringo Awards are considered one of the three major American comic awards alongside the Harvey Awards and Eisner Awards. Established in 2017 to honor cartoonist Mike Wieringo, known for works like "Spider-Man" and "Fantastic Four."
"Lore Olympus" won trophies last year at this award as well as the Will Eisner Awards (Best Webcomic) and the Harvey Awards (Digital Book of the Year). Maintaining its momentum this year, it achieved a double crown. The results for the Harvey Awards, where a triple crown is at stake, will be announced next month.
