Putin: "Trump Indictment Is Proof of Rotten US Politics"
Russian President Vladimir Putin criticized the indictment of former U.S. President Donald Trump on the 12th (local time), saying it "shows that the American political system is rotten."
During his speech at the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF) held in Vladivostok, Russia's Far East, President Putin referred to Trump's indictment as a "political prosecution."
He also added that regardless of who wins the U.S. presidential election next year, there will be no significant change in the relationship between Russia and the United States.
