Police Seek Arrest Warrant for 50-Year-Old Habitual False Reporter
An arrest warrant has been requested for a man in his 50s who repeatedly made false reports.
The Gwangju Dongbu Police Station announced on the 12th that they have applied for a pre-arrest warrant for Mr. A (in his 50s) on charges of violating the Information and Communications Network Act.
Mr. A is accused of making over 330 false emergency calls to 112 from March until the 19th of last month, causing public anxiety.
He repeatedly made calls containing abusive language or content intended to create anxiety while intoxicated.
