Jinju-si Conducts Village Leader Training in Rural Areas... Various Programs Offered

Jinju City in Gyeongnam Province is conducting the '2023 Jinju City Village Leader Training' from the 5th to the 21st, over a total of 6 sessions, to cultivate leaders in rural areas and strengthen their capabilities.
This training is part of the capacity-building project and is designed to nurture village leaders and activists who can lead the planning and establishment of long-term development directions for villages.
The curriculum consists of six programs, including resident community and conflict management, revitalization of local communities, understanding rural development and rural projects, and sustainable village development directions.
This year's training focuses on cultivating leaders who will drive community revitalization, enabling participants to acquire basic knowledge necessary for establishing resident-led village development plans. The program is conducted by inviting academic and professional instructors for 18 residents from 8 towns and townships interested in the training.

A city official stated, "Through this leader training, village leaders will gain the capabilities to guide residents, and residents will be empowered to take the initiative in activities for village development," adding, "Jinju City will also actively support creating a village atmosphere that develops together with its residents."
