Goobne Wins 'Brand of the Year' Award for 14 Consecutive Years

Goobne, operated by GN Food, announced on the 8th that it has won the Grand Prize in the Oven Chicken category at the '2023 Brand of the Year Awards' for the 14th consecutive year.
The Brand of the Year Awards is hosted by the Korea Consumer Brand Committee and organized by the Korea Consumer Forum. The awards select the brand of the year in each category through a national vote and committee deliberation.
Goobne cited consistent communication with consumers as the driving force behind winning the grand prize for 14 consecutive years. Recently, it has focused on enhancing brand image and securing new customer segments through various marketing activities targeting Generation Z. A representative example is the opening of its first flagship store, 'Goobne Playtown,' in Jandari-ro, in front of Hongdae, the youth street, in June. The store embraces the concept of 'a place open to everyone, a new playground for all.'
They have also devoted efforts to developing diverse hit menus using oven technology. In November last year, through a regional win-win project with Namhae County in Gyeongsangnam-do, they launched 'Namhae Garlic Basasak,' which currently records sales of over 10,000 chickens per day and has established itself as a best-selling menu. Additionally, in April, they strengthened their pizza category by introducing two new types of Chicago pizza, featuring thick and crispy dough textures cooked in the oven.
