Daegu Environment Agency Conducts Special Inspection on Golf Course Environmental Pollution... Urges "Compliance with Laws"
The Daegu Regional Environmental Office (Director Seo Heung-won) announced on the 6th that it will conduct a special inspection of environmental pollution activities at golf courses throughout September in preparation for the increase in golf course users due to the rise in outdoor activities during the autumn season.
This special inspection aims to prevent potential environmental pollution activities at golf courses in Daegu and Gyeongbuk in advance, with a focus on checking the proper disposal of waste and sewage.

View original imageThe main focus includes checking for violations of storage and disposal standards for various business wastes such as grass waste generated during weeding operations at golf courses, and sampling and analyzing discharge water from private sewage treatment facilities to verify compliance with water quality standards.
Additionally, for golf courses operating air and wastewater discharge facilities, compliance with management standards for these facilities and proper implementation of post-environmental impact assessment management will be checked.
