Buying Kimchi, Dried Persimmons, and Apples Donated to Local Community... LG HelloVision 'Sharing Market'
Purchasing Products in the 'Nanum Jangteo' Category at the Seasonal Market
Automatic Donation of 1,000 Won... Promoting Value Consumption
Participation in the Happy Bean Campaign as Well
When you buy kimchi, dried persimmons, or apples, you are given a special opportunity to feel the fulfillment of donating to the local community. LG HelloVision announced on the 4th that it has opened the ‘Sharing Market,’ where donation funds are automatically accumulated when purchasing Korean agricultural and marine products on the cable TV regional commerce platform ‘Seasonal Market.’
The Sharing Market is open to everyone. Each time a customer purchases a product in the ‘Sharing Market’ category within the Seasonal Market, LG HelloVision donates 1,000 KRW per purchase as a donation. The products available exclusively in the ‘Sharing Market’ include about 20 seasonal foods, ranging from Haenam kimchi, LG HelloVision’s first regional win-win product, to Sangju dried persimmons and Uiseong apples.
The Sharing Market also participates in Naver Happy Bean’s Good Action campaign. It first introduces the ‘Seasonal Market,’ which supports local small businesses, in detail and encourages value-based consumption in the ‘Sharing Market.’ Additionally, it connects to the Happy Bean donation box to foster a culture of voluntary donations among netizens.
To encourage active participation from Happy Bean netizens, LG HelloVision initially donated 10 million KRW. The donations collected in the Happy Bean donation box will be used to provide kimchi for kimjang to underprivileged groups in Yangcheon-gu, Seoul, and Jindo-gun, Jeollanam-do. Subsequently, the donations gathered through the Sharing Market will be entrusted to local governments and regional welfare facilities to support vulnerable groups.
