Shinhan Bank to Conduct Second Half Recruitment for 250 Positions
Open Recruitment for Entry-Level General Employees, Digital and ICT Rolling Hiring, etc.
Shinhan Bank announced on the 4th that it will conduct recruitment for approximately 250 positions across four categories, including general entry-level positions, in the second half of this year.
The recruitment, starting from the 4th, will be conducted through ▲general entry-level open recruitment ▲digital and ICT occasional recruitment ▲ICT specialized high school occasional recruitment ▲special recruitment for social value.
The general entry-level open recruitment will proceed in the order of document screening, written test (SLT), and first and second interviews. The SLT consists of NCS and financial knowledge (evaluating basic job skills and financial understanding), and digital literacy assessment (verifying logical thinking and situational judgment related to digital finance). Shinhan Bank explained, “This method moves away from simply checking memorized knowledge and comprehensively evaluates problem-solving skills and understanding necessary for job performance.”
The digital and ICT occasional recruitment will be conducted through general screening and SSAFY (Samsung Software Academy For Youth) special screening, with five recruitment fields: banking service development, mobile and web service development, information security, UX/UI, and digital new business planning. Job-specific evaluations such as coding tests and UX/UI assignments will be conducted, and outstanding talents will be actively selected through the ‘Shinhan Bank Hackathon Competition.’ Additionally, recruitment for ICT specialized high school graduates is also being conducted.
To promote ESG (environment, social, and governance), social value practice, and discover diverse talents, special recruitment for social value will also be carried out. Candidates will be selected in personal and corporate finance and ICT development fields, targeting persons with disabilities, national veterans, multicultural families, and children of fallen public officials.
