Yoo Seung-min "Key National Security Office Aide Replacement, Suspected Issue is Park Jeong-hoon's Investigation Interference"

Former lawmaker Yoo Seung-min raised suspicions that the replacement of the National Security Office's 2nd Deputy Director and the Defense Secretary might be linked to allegations of presidential interference in the investigation involving Colonel Park Jeong-hoon.
On the 4th, Yoo stated on his social media, "From the Washington Declaration to the Camp David summit, President Yoon Seok-yeol has praised these as historic achievements himself, so I cannot understand why he is replacing key aides in the National Security Office," adding, "The only plausible reason seems to be the allegations of presidential interference in the investigation concerning Colonel Park Jeong-hoon."

Yoo further stated, "Although the truth may be concealed or manipulated by the power of authority for now, the truth will inevitably come to light soon," and urged, "At least one of the key witnesses must courageously speak the truth."
Democratic Party lawmaker Kim Eui-gyeom also pointed out on social media that day, "Only two people were singled out with pinpoint accuracy. Despite the chaotic situation with North Korea firing cruise missiles and ongoing South Korea-U.S. joint military exercises, this happened," and said, "The reason seems simple. These two leaked confidential information."

Kim claimed, "The Defense Secretary was the first person to inform the Marine Corps Commander on July 31 that 'the president was enraged and contacted the Defense Minister, expressing his anger loudly,'" and argued, "Their alleged crime is likely 'disclosing the VIP's rage to outsiders.'"
