Haman-gun, Recruiting Participants for the 'Youth Monthly Rent Support Program'
Haman-gun, Gyeongnam Province announced on the 4th that it will implement the ‘Youth Monthly Rent Support Project’ to reduce the housing cost burden on young people and support stable housing life.
The ‘Youth Monthly Rent Support Project’ is a program that supports stable housing life for young people experiencing economic difficulties due to housing cost burdens by providing up to 150,000 KRW per month in rent for 10 months.
The eligible applicants are young household heads aged 19 to 45 residing in Haman-gun who live separately from their parents, do not own a home, and have an income between 60% and 150% of the median income.
However, national and local government officials, basic livelihood security recipients (living, medical, housing), residents of public rental housing, participants in government and local government youth housing support projects, those living in housing with a lease deposit exceeding 100 million KRW, or monthly rent exceeding 600,000 KRW are excluded from applying.
The application period is from August 30 to September 13. Applications can be submitted online through ‘Gyeongnam Baro Service’ or by visiting the Innovation Strategy Office at Haman-gun Office during business hours.
