Namwon Education and Culture Center Operates 'Wise Environmental Living'
Understanding the Climate Crisis and Experiencing Carbon Neutrality Practices
Namwon Education and Culture Center (Director Park Su-jin) announced on the 4th that it will operate the 'Wise Environmental Life' program starting from the 7th.
This is an outreach environmental education program for middle school students in the district to foster correct awareness of the environment and promote a culture of carbon neutrality practice. The program will run until November 30, and 14 middle schools in the district that applied in advance will participate.

This environmental education program will be operated under three themes: ▲ Climate Expedition Team to Reduce Carbon ▲ Waste Reduction and Separation Expedition Team ▲ Earth Protection Expedition Team for Carbon Neutrality, focusing mainly on understanding the climate crisis and methods to practice carbon neutrality.

Director Park Su-jin said, "Through close-to-daily information and experiential education about carbon neutrality, we will encourage students to continuously take an interest in climate change and carbon reduction and to practice it in their daily lives."
