Kakao Publishes '2022-2023 Partners with Kakao' Featuring Stories of Mutual Growth
Kakao announced on the 4th that it has published the win-win magazine "Partners with Kakao," which tells the story of mutual growth with its partners.
Partners with Kakao is a magazine that summarizes the vivid growth stories of partners continuing their businesses using the Kakao platform, along with the win-win activities and achievements Kakao has carried out throughout the year. Since the first issue in December 2017, it has been published annually.
This issue, covering 2022 and 2023, organizes Kakao's efforts to consider the sustainability of society into three parts.
First, in the "Connecting Users and Partners" section, you can find major win-win projects Kakao is developing, such as Kakao Makers' "Jegabatchi," which connects farms and customers so that Korean agricultural, livestock, and fishery products can receive fair prices, and the "Sosin Sangin Project" supporting the digital transformation of small business owners.
In the "Solving Social Issues through Technology" section, you can get an overview of Kakao's various social impact activities. It introduces diverse collaboration cases conducted over the year by the social contribution platform "Kakao Together Value (Kakao Gatgachi)" and the social innovator support activities of Kakao's corporate foundation, "Kakao Impact."
The last section, "Growing Together with Local Communities," includes the "Kakao Tech Campus" program supporting digital talent development and win-win cases Kakao is conducting for better changes in the Jeju region.
Through interviews with eight partners, you can see how Kakao is providing support on the ground. ▲These include flower farmers expanding their sales channels through Jegabatchi, market merchants communicating with customers via Talk Channel, taxi drivers who received hospital fee support through Kakao Mobility's "Taxi Driver Medical Livelihood Safety Support" project, young entrepreneurs selling macarons on KakaoTalk Gift, startups growing their businesses with Kakao Ventures, social innovators participating in the behavioral participation project "Everyone's Action," and vivid stories from universities where Kakao Tech Campus is being conducted.
A Kakao official said, "We have been publishing Partners with Kakao every year so that the mutual growth and success stories of partners who have worked with Kakao can help prospective partners facing difficulties. We will continue to build a solid foundation for partners to grow their businesses and strive to ensure that Kakao's assets and technology contribute to innovations needed by society."
