Hyundai Motor Company Launches First High-Performance N Brand Electric Vehicle 'Ioniq 5N'
The launch price is 76 million won... The actual purchase price is expected to decrease depending on subsidies
Hyundai Motor Company launched the Ioniq 5 N, the first electric vehicle under its high-performance N brand, on the 4th.
The Ioniq 5 N is equipped with various high-performance electric vehicle-specific technologies, including a high-performance all-wheel-drive system, a high-output 84.0 kWh battery, and a high-performance EV-specific thermal management control system, delivering overwhelming driving performance.
The Ioniq 5 N features front and rear motors with a combined maximum output of 448 kW (609 horsepower) and maximum torque of 740 Nm. When using Boost Mode, the maximum output increases to 478 kW (650 horsepower) and maximum torque to 770 Nm. The zero to 100 km/h acceleration time is 3.4 seconds.
The Ioniq 5 N is equipped with 'N Battery Preconditioning' technology, which preheats and cools the battery to an optimal temperature before driving, ensuring excellent cornering performance. It also applies 'N Race' technology to control the battery temperature at an optimal level even under harsh driving conditions.
Hyundai enhanced driving enjoyment by applying the virtual shift system 'N e-Shift,' which provides the shifting feel of an internal combustion engine vehicle through motor control, and the high-performance electric vehicle virtual sound system 'N Active Sound Plus' to the Ioniq 5 N.
The Ioniq 5 N is offered in a single trim with a sales price of 76 million KRW. This price includes individual consumption tax and eco-friendly vehicle tax benefits, and the actual purchase price can be further reduced when combined with government and local government electric vehicle purchase subsidies.
