LifeSemantics announced on the 4th that it has appointed Baek Su-hyun, a former aide to a member of the National Assembly, as the new Head of External Cooperation.
Baek Su-hyun, the newly appointed Head of External Cooperation, graduated from Hanyang University with a degree in law and previously served as an aide to National Assembly member Jeon Hae-cheol. Since 2014, he has gained extensive legislative policy experience by working across various standing committees, including the Legislation and Judiciary Committee, the Political Affairs Committee, the Special Committee on Budget and Accounts, the Foreign Affairs and Unification Committee, and the Environment and Labor Committee, engaging in activities such as drafting and revising bills, reviewing budgets, and developing policy pledges.
Going forward, Baek will oversee LifeSemantics' external cooperation and serve as a communication bridge with the legislative and executive branches to respond to policies and regulations related to digital healthcare.
LifeSemantics is developing various digital health businesses utilizing medical information technology and AI, centered around its cloud-based medical MyData application programming interface (API) platform, 'LifeRecord.' These include the digital therapeutic device (DTx) 'Redpill Sumton,' the non-face-to-face medical platform 'DoctorCall,' the artificial intelligence (AI) prediction solution 'Hi,' and two medical AI solutions established through the DoctorAnswer 2.0 project.

Baek stated, "For the domestic digital healthcare industry to gain global competitiveness, an institutional foundation that keeps pace with technological advancements must be established," adding, "I will strive to foster internal and external communication and cooperation necessary to realize LifeSemantics' vision and goals of healthily innovating the existing medical system."
