"Targeting Domestic Demand Rebound" Renault Korea Massively Recruits Sales and Marketing Executives
Renault Korea Motors has reorganized its Sales and Marketing Headquarters and recruited a large number of new executives. Through this organizational restructuring, the company aims to rebound in the domestic market.
On the 3rd, Renault Korea announced the appointment of Emmanuel Alnawakil as the head of the Sales and Marketing Headquarters. Alnawakil previously served as Vice President of Sales Operations for the Alpine brand within the Renault Group and successfully led the sales growth of Alpine models. Alpine is a representative high-performance vehicle brand from France. The A110, equipped with a 1.8 turbo gasoline engine produced at the Busan plant, is the flagship model.
Before working with the Alpine brand, Alnawakil gained experience at Volkswagen and the PSA Group. During his tenure, he played a leading role in overcoming sales crises, making him a suitable figure to lead Renault Korea’s rebound in the domestic market, the company stated. Additionally, as a member of the company’s top management, he is expected to contribute to achieving Renault Korea’s vision of growing into a "technology-based automotive company."
Along with the new head of Sales and Marketing Headquarters, Renault Korea has recruited four experts for the marketing organization.
Lim Dong-geon, the new Head of Product Strategy Operations, is a veteran who has handled product marketing at several domestic automakers and advanced industries. Ha Eun-young, the new Head of Brand Strategy, is a brand marketing expert with extensive experience in building brands in the lifestyle and finance sectors. Marketing Communications will be newly led by Lee Won-seon, who has actively managed communications in the automotive and FMCG sectors. Park Hye-jung, who joined from Renault Group’s Mobilize Financial Services, will lead the Performance and e-Commerce organization based on her experience in finance and insurance businesses.
