Jeonnam Fire Department Receives 'Encouragement Award' at the 3rd Rescue Policy Workshop
Jeonnam Fire Headquarters (Chief Hong Young-geun) announced on the 1st that it received the 'Encouragement Award (Fire Agency Commissioner Award)' at the 3rd Rescue Policy Workshop.
The event is held annually to discover practical policy ideas and share excellent rescue techniques for effective disaster response at complex and diverse disaster sites.
This year's event was held at Daegu EXCO from the 30th to 31st. Fire headquarters from 19 cities and provinces nationwide participated and presented research papers.
Suncheon Fire Station, representing Jeonnam, presented research results on the operation plan of the AI 119 Specialized Search and Rescue Team, receiving balanced scores in completeness, policy relevance, and logic.
