Scholarship Benefits for Early Rolling Admission Passers and Others
Yuwon University will select 934 students, which is 96% of the admission quota, in the 2024 academic year early admission. This year, a new Department of Smart Farm, which researches the smart farm field combining future agriculture and ICT technology, will be established and recruit 20 freshmen. In addition, the Department of Emergency Rescue, which trains emergency medical technicians, will also be newly established with 30 students admitted.
The Yeongdong Campus will select 497 students from 12 recruitment units, and the Asan Campus will select 437 students from 14 recruitment units. For all early admission screening types, academic performance is calculated based on the average standard score of the top 9 subjects' rank grades among Korean, English, Mathematics, Social Studies, and Science. Duplicate subjects can be counted, and elective subjects related to career paths are also reflected by applying the standard score table.
All recruitment units except for the Yuwon Academic Screening will select students by reflecting 60% of the school record (academic) and 40% of the interview. The Yuwon Academic Screening selects students 100% based on school record (academic) grades.
In the screening for health-related departments such as Nursing, Dental Hygiene, Physical Therapy, and Occupational Therapy, there is no stepwise screening, and all applicants who applied through the Yuwon Interview Screening must attend the interview exam.
The interview exam will be a multi-person oral interview, and the interview items comprehensively evaluate personality, values, academic motivation, communication skills, and thinking ability, which are unrelated to prior learning. When the interview exam schedule is announced, expected interview questions will be disclosed on the admissions website.
