Hanwha Galleria Appoints Kim Young-hoon as New CEO and Head of Strategic Planning Office
Hanwha Galleria announced on the 1st that it has appointed Kim Young-hoon, Head of Strategic Planning (57), as the new CEO.

Appointed Kim joined Hanwha Group in 1991 and has mainly carried out strategic work at Hanwha Galleria for over 20 years. He has served as Head of Strategy Team, Head of Planning Office, and Head of Strategic Planning Office, and is recognized for contributing to discovering future growth engines for Hanwha Galleria.
The company introduced that Kim is familiar with Chinese affairs, having worked at the former Hanwha China, Hanwha Group’s integrated corporation in China, and also gained on-site experience in the distribution sector as the store manager of the Daejeon Timeworld branch. Hanwha Galleria stated that it expects Kim to further strengthen premium content competitiveness while also demonstrating capabilities in discovering new business opportunities.

Kim is scheduled to be appointed as CEO after an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders and a board meeting later this month. Kim Eun-soo, who led Hanwha Galleria for the past six years, will step down from management and take on the role of full-time advisor.
