Gwangju Bank Awards Scholarships to Local Talents
The Gwangju Bank Scholarship Foundation has awarded a total of 130 million KRW in scholarships to local students.
The Gwangju Bank Scholarship Foundation selected 104 scholarship recipients after receiving recommendations of students from the Gwangju and Jeonnam regions who demonstrated excellent academic performance and good conduct from schools and other institutions.
Recently, a scholarship certificate awarding ceremony was held at the headquarters, where two high school student representatives and two university students were invited to receive handwritten letters and economic books.
On the 1st, Gwangju Bank President Ko Byung-il stated, "I hope all selected scholarship students take pride and confidence as Gwangju Bank scholars and grow into key talents who will lead our region."

Since its establishment in 1981, the Gwangju Bank Scholarship Foundation has awarded scholarships worth a total of 3.9 billion KRW to over 4,600 local scholarship students over 42 years.
