The hotel explained that this event was planned as a token of gratitude based on the continuous introduction and exhibition of local emerging artists, in line with Andaz's brand philosophy that "the true way to experience a place is through the five senses." A portion of the proceeds from the charity auction will be donated to support cultural and artistic projects.
The charity auction, presented together with Openwall, features one piece from artist Lee Da-hee's signature "Blue Prelude" series, along with a one-night stay benefit in the Andaz Garden Suite decorated with Lee Da-hee's artworks. The suite is equipped with a BeoLab 18 sound system worth approximately 15 million KRW from the world-renowned audio brand Bang & Olufsen, allowing guests to experience the artwork through all five senses.
The charity auction will be held both online and offline, and participation is possible via Flea Auction from 11 a.m. on September 1st to 9 p.m. on September 6th. On the final day of the event, an offline private charity auction will take place at the hotel at 7 p.m., where attendees can view the auction pieces in person and meet artist Lee Da-hee to discuss her works.
Artist Lee Da-hee, who is participating in this event, is renowned for visualizing classical music on canvas. Her signature "Blue Prelude" series consists of 40 pieces that visually capture the bold harmonic progressions, free yet intricate rhythmic structures, and elegant melodies of Bach's music for prolonged appreciation.
