A Drunken Man in His 30s Arrested for Assaulting a Pedestrian and Insulting Police Officers
A man in his 30s who assaulted a pedestrian on the street while intoxicated and also verbally abused and caused a disturbance to responding police officers was apprehended by the police.
The Gwangju Seobu Police Station announced on the 31st that they have applied for an arrest warrant for a man in his 30s, identified as A, on charges of assault and obstruction of official duties.
A is accused of throwing punches at a pedestrian who was smoking near the Sangmu District in Chipyeong-dong, Seo-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City, around 8 p.m. on the 29th, and verbally abusing and causing a disturbance to the police officers who arrived after receiving a report.
