Hwaseong City in Gyeonggi Province announced on the 30th that it will hold the region's largest festival, the 'Hwaseong Songsan Grape Festival,' for two days on the 2nd and 3rd of next month at Gungpyeong Port in Seosin-myeon, Hwaseong City.
During this period, the event venue will operate more than 50 grape sales booths along with local agricultural specialties, selling grapes at prices cheaper than the market, the city explained.
On the first day of the festival, the 2nd, from 6 p.m., there will be a grape appraisal award ceremony and a special performance. The city added that visitor participation events such as grape stomping and grape fishing will also be prepared during the event period.
For consumers who cannot visit the event venue in person during the festival, the city will hold a separate grape promotion event at the Waterfront Culture Plaza in Dongtan Lake Park.
