Hwasun-gun Supports Increased Electricity Charges for Agricultural Use
Hwasun-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 30th that it has provided partial payments for the increase in agricultural electricity charges to alleviate the increased management burden on farms and promote management stability.
The county accepted applications in two phases from March 21 to April 12.
As a result, payments were confirmed for a total of 2,696 cases, including 1.77 billion KRW for 1,389 cases in the first phase and 3.37 billion KRW for 1,307 cases in the second phase.
The support targets are farms and corporations using agricultural electricity with addresses in the province. The support unit price for the first phase, based on electricity usage from October to December 2022, is 9.05 KRW per kWh, and for the second phase, based on usage from January to February 2023, it is 14.1 KRW per kWh.
