On the 30th, Jeonnam Sinan-gun announced that Seong Gi-sun, CEO of Namhae Express Co., Ltd., visited the county office on the 28th and pledged to donate 50 million won to the Sinan-gun Scholarship Foundation (Chairman Park Woo-ryang).

Namhae Express Co., Ltd., established in 1955, is a shipping company that has operated for 68 years with the goal of comfortable and safe navigation, serving the island areas of Sinan-gun and Jeju Island. With 76 employees working as one, the company strives to be the transportation lifeline for island residents and tourists.
CEO Seong Gi-sun said, “Having been born on Jaeun-do Island, I am well aware of the difficulties and hardships of island areas, so I have been considering ways to contribute to the local community and decided to donate scholarship funds.” He added, “I hope the Sinan-gun Scholarship Foundation will excellently nurture local talents.”
