Lotte Chilsung Wins Red Dot Award 'Brand & Communication Design' Main Prize
Limited Edition Trevi Released in Collaboration with Reebok Wins Award
Lotte Chilsung Beverage announced on the 30th that it won the main prize in the Brand & Communication Design category at the 2023 Red Dot Design Award.
The Red Dot Design Award, hosted by the Design Center of North Rhine-Westphalia in Germany, has a history dating back to 1955 and is considered one of the world's top three design awards alongside Germany’s iF Design Award and the United States’ IDEA. An international jury evaluates the excellence, creativity, and functionality of designs in three categories: Product Design, Brand & Communication Design, and Design Concept, selecting the winners accordingly.
The awarded work is the limited edition "Trevi" released in collaboration with the global sports brand Reebok in May. Sharing the common theme of tennis, the two brands collaborated to propose a lifestyle that aligns with the healthy pleasure trend, emphasizing both health and fun. The product label packaging features the main slogan "LOVE ALL TREVI WITH REEBOK," applying the tennis match starting cheer "LOVE ALL" to the package, symbolizing that Trevi and Reebok are welcoming the new season together as if starting a tennis match. Additionally, while maintaining the iconic green color of the Trevi package, the design incorporates tennis tracks and ball motifs to enhance the sense of presence. The flavors?plain, peach, grapefruit, and lime?are each represented by different tennis ball colors, vividly expressing the brand’s healthy energy, which received high praise.
