Gyeongbok University Nursing Education Center has been selected as an institution for nurse continuing education.
On the 29th, Gyeongbok University announced that its Nursing Education Center was designated as an institution for nurse continuing education by the Korean Nurses Association.
According to the Medical Service Act, licensed nurses must complete at least 8 hours of continuing education annually to maintain their licenses. The designation as a continuing education institution also requires meeting conditions and undergoing written and on-site evaluations of the education operation system according to the Medical Service Act, followed by institutional certification and continuous management.
The College of Nursing at Gyeongbok University has the Nursing Simulation Education Research Center (SERIN) within the Seoul Industry-Academia Cooperation Hub Practice Support Center as a facility for continuing education.
Hwang In-Young, head of the Nursing Education Center at Gyeongbok University, stated, "With the designation of Gyeongbok University Nursing Education Center as an institution for nurse continuing education, we will strive to provide the best continuing education to nurses working in clinical settings."

The College of Nursing at Gyeongbok University will sign a contract with the Korean Nurses Association as an institution for nurse continuing education on September 7, and from October, it will operate nurse continuing education programs on topics such as Understanding Imaging Tests, Neurointerventional Procedures and Patient Care, Basic Course for Care of Severe Trauma Patients, and Basic Course for Simulation Debriefing.
