BPA National Team Wins Medals in 3 Consecutive Competitions!
The 20th K-water Mul Sarang National Rowing Competition
The Busan Port Authority (BPA, President Kang Jun-seok) rowing team participated in the "20th K-water Water Love National Rowing Competition" held in Chungju, Chungbuk from August 26 to 28, winning medals and achieving the remarkable feat of sweeping medals in events they have competed in for three consecutive tournaments.
Previously, the BPA rowing team won 2 gold medals and 1 silver medal at the Jangbogo Tournament in June, and 1 gold medal and 2 bronze medals at the Presidential Cup Tournament in July.
In this competition, in the Muta Pair event, athletes Cho Sun-hyung and Kang Han-na recorded a time of 7 minutes 57.11 seconds to win the silver medal; in the Quadruple Sculls event, athletes Cho Sun-hyung, Choi Su-jin, Kang Han-na, and Son Hyo-jung recorded 7 minutes 12.74 seconds to win the silver medal; and in the Lightweight Single Sculls event, athlete Choi Su-jin recorded 8 minutes 26.72 seconds to win the bronze medal.
The BPA rowing team was able to secure medals by reducing their times by 10.43 seconds in the Muta Pair and 6.91 seconds in the Quadruple Sculls events, as a result of intensive training during the summer training camp conducted since late July.

The BPA rowing team plans to extend their training camp until the end of this season to focus on the National Sports Festival scheduled for October this year.
