The '60th Jeonbuk Provincial Sports Festival,' a gathering of harmony and celebration for the people of Jeonbuk, will take place throughout Gimje City.
According to the Jeonbuk Sports Council (Chairman Jeong Gang-seon) on the 28th, the Provincial Sports Festival will be held over three days from the 1st to the 3rd of next month in Gimje City. This year's festival is the last to be held under the name 'Jeollabuk-do' following the launch of the Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province in 2024.
Under the slogan "Golden Hope Jeollabuk-do, Together in Gimje," 39 events (37 official and 2 demonstration) will be contested. Approximately 25,000 participants, including athletes, officials, and spectators from 14 cities and counties within the province, will engage in friendly competition.
