The Gyeongbuk Education Scholarship Foundation (Chairman Lim Jong-sik) held a scholarship donation ceremony on the 28th at the Gyeongbuk Office of Education Hwabek Hall, attended by representatives of three organizations.
On this day, Hanaro Co., Ltd. (CEO Jeong Gwang-pyo), a software development specialist company developing virtual reality (VR) education systems and touch-type job kiosks, donated 10 million won in scholarships.
In addition, the Gyeongsangbuk-do Chapter of the Korea Specialty Construction Association (Chairman Lee Jeong-cheol), which strives for a better future in the specialty construction industry, and the Gyeongbuk Education Alumni Association (Chairman Baek Young-ae), composed of public officials of grade 5 or higher from the Gyeongbuk Office of Education, each donated 5 million won in scholarships.
Jeong Gwang-pyo, CEO of Hanaro Co., Ltd., said, “We decided to donate scholarships to help students who are working hard in various fields, even if only a little, and we will strive to grow as a socially responsible company through continuous donations.”
