Nowon-gu Hosts '2023 Gyeongchun Line Forest Trail Autumn Concert'

Nowon-gu (Mayor Oh Seung-rok) announced that the '2023 Gyeongchun Line Forest Trail Autumn Concert' will be held on September 9 at Seoul National University of Science and Technology.
The 'Gyeongchun Line Forest Trail Autumn Concert' is a representative outdoor concert organized annually by the district every September at Hwarangdae Railroad Park to offer residents the opportunity to enjoy various genres of music along with the autumn night atmosphere.
Marking its 5th edition, the 2023 Gyeongchun Line Forest Trail Autumn Concert will be specially held on September 9 at Seoul National University of Science and Technology next to Hwarangdae Railroad Park to commemorate the Army Academy-Nowon-gu Friendship Day.
The concert, starting at 7 p.m., will open with a performance by the Western Symphony Orchestra (conducted by Bang Seong-ho). The lineup includes ▲ singer Park Jung-hyun, known as the 'R&B Fairy' who has appeared on various broadcasts such as 'I Am a Singer' and 'Begin Again' ▲ trot singer Jang Min-ho, who is gaining popularity after appearing on 'Mr. Trot' ▲ crossover group La Poem, winners of Phantom Singer 3 ▲ and vocalist Kyungseo, who debuted with 'Stars in the Night Sky'.
Additionally, announcer Hwang Soo-kyung will host the event, presenting a refined stage featuring a variety of genres from classical to pop and trot music.
Those wishing to attend the concert must make a phone reservation starting at 9 a.m. on August 28. Admission is free, and the event is open to 10,000 Nowon-gu residents. Reservations are limited to two tickets per person, and both the applicant and accompanying guest must be Nowon-gu residents.
Besides the concert, the district has prepared various attractions in line with the first-ever full opening of the Army Academy starting at 10 a.m. that day.
The district’s representative cultural event, the 'Street Arts Festival,' will take place from 1:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at three locations within the Army Academy: ▲ Lawn Yard (in front of the Cadet Hall) ▲ near the Fountain (in front of Beommuchen) ▲ and in front of the Army Museum. Visitors to the Army Academy can enjoy visually delightful cultural performances such as circus experiences, acrobatics, and bubble/drawing shows. At 9 p.m., as the autumn concert concludes, a 10-minute drone show will be held. Three hundred drones will be launched simultaneously to create a colorful spectacle in the night sky.
