According to the county on the 23rd, requests from residents to create barefoot paths have been continuously received, and Governor Kim San personally visited Cheolsosae-gil in Muan-eup to give instructions for the creation of a barefoot path.
Barefoot walking is known to be highly effective in stimulating the soles of the feet, where peripheral nerves gather, promoting smooth blood circulation, strengthening immune function, improving constitution, and treating neuralgia. Barefoot walkers have proven these benefits, leading to word-of-mouth and many people joining in.
Governor Kim San noted that although barefoot paths are established in various places in Namak, there are none in Muan-eup. Considering this, he, along with related department staff, walked the Cheolsosae-gil, a popular spot for walking and exercise, sweating as they reviewed the site and directly instructed the project for creating the barefoot path.
Regarding the barefoot path project on Cheolsosae-gil, Governor Kim San stated, “If it is for the health promotion of the residents, I am ready to take the lead as a top priority,” and added, “We will do our best to create a barefoot path in Muan-eup so that residents can enjoy barefoot walking comfortably, safely, and with healing.”
