Kim Jaewon: "Do you think the party will improve if Lee Junseok and Cheon Ayong are nominated? I do not agree"
Regarding Rep. Yoon Sang-hyun of the People Power Party's claim that 'Cheon Ayongin (Cheon Ha-ram, Heo Eun-ah, Kim Yong-tae, Lee Gi-in),' who are affiliated with former leader Lee Jun-seok and his faction, should be nominated for the party to win in the metropolitan area, Kim Jae-won, a Supreme Council member of the People Power Party, expressed a negative stance, saying, "I do not agree that nominating those people will improve the party."
On the 22nd, Kim said on BBS's 'Jeon Young-shin's Morning Journal,' "There are people who would be pleased if those people were nominated, but there are also many who feel a great burden toward the party," expressing this view.

However, it would be good for him to reflect on how the party members think," adding, "Looking at Lee, it is so extreme that one wonders whether he shares the party's vision or is in the party merely to realize his personal youthful ambitions."
He said, "I find this kind of talk somewhat uncomfortable," and added, "Who exactly is he referring to as the 'rebels'? From the perspective of Representative Kim Ki-hyun, wouldn't the rebels be the opposing side?" implying that former leader Lee could be considered a rebel.
Regarding People Power Party Secretary-General Lee Cheol-gyu's remark that 'passengers who sink the ship cannot board together,' he said, "I hope people refrain from making statements that oppose the party's policies," and added, "For example, if someone is making a hole in the ship while sailing, shouldn't that person be thrown out? If it were me, I wouldn't just refuse to let them board; I would throw them into the water."
