Hyundai Motor's 'SDV Transition' to Hire Three-Digit Number of Experienced R&D Professionals
Hyundai Motor Company has launched a large-scale recruitment drive for experienced professionals to innovate future mobility, including electrification and SDV (software-defined vehicles).
On the 21st, Hyundai announced that it will conduct a triple-digit scale recruitment of experienced professionals in the research and development (R&D) sector until October 3rd. This is the first large-scale recruitment of experienced professionals since the organizational restructuring carried out in June.
The main fields for this recruitment are electrification, robotics (including commercialization personnel), hydrogen fuel cells, vehicle control, design, and six other sectors, totaling nine areas. Hyundai explained that the recruitment scale has been expanded to more than twice the number of hires compared to the first half of this year’s recruitment in February.
The recruitment process will proceed in the order of ▲document screening and phone interviews (September) ▲job interviews (October) ▲comprehensive interviews (November). Final successful candidates will join the company before February next year. Detailed schedules can be found in the recruitment announcements for each sector. Considering applicants’ convenience, it is also possible to apply by resubmitting previously prepared resumes without writing a separate self-introduction letter.
Additionally, separate from this recruitment schedule, Hyundai is continuously recruiting experienced software developers in the infotainment, robotics, and electronics sectors through monthly ongoing hiring.
A Hyundai Motor Company official said, "Through large-scale recruitment of experienced professionals, we will secure talent while establishing leadership in the future mobility market and boldly pursuing new business strategies. In particular, in line with the trend of expanding software developer recruitment, we will create an environment where experienced developers can be satisfied in all aspects, including organizational culture and development environment."
