Busan City will operate the ‘2023 Second Half Marine Healing Program’ every Saturday and Sunday from September 2 to October 29 at seven city beaches, Suyeonggang Naru Park, and Yeongdo Amir Park.
The ‘Marine Healing Program’ is a unique marine tourism content that promotes mental stability and health improvement against the backdrop of Busan’s sea and rivers. It has been popular, with 1,000 participants in the first half of the year alone.
In the second half, the same four programs as in the first half will be operated: ▲Nordic Walking ▲Singing Bowl Meditation ▲Sunset Pilates ▲Beach Yoga. Through rotational operation by location and time, participants can enjoy unique programs in various scenic settings.
‘Nordic Walking’ is an exercise that involves walking on the beach using sticks, engaging more than 90% of the body’s muscles, which helps with posture correction and muscle strength improvement.
‘Singing Bowl Meditation’ uses the unique sounds and vibrations of the ‘singing bowl,’ which means ‘singing vessel,’ to relax the body’s tension and help relieve stress and alleviate insomnia.
Additionally, ‘Beach Yoga,’ which can be calmly enjoyed in the quiet morning, and ‘Sunset Pilates,’ conducted against the backdrop of a beautifully setting sun, offer unique experiences at different times and locations, receiving great responses from participants.
The participation fee is 10,000 KRW per program. Applications are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis through the website.
If you apply in advance by August 31, you will receive a 10% discount on the participation fee.
On-site registration will be available for remaining spots.

Park Geun-rok, Director of the Tourism MICE Bureau, said, “As social demand for work-life balance increases, healing tourism that provides psychological stability in nature is gaining attention. Our city will continue to strive to discover diverse marine tourism content that allows people to enjoy Busan’s sea and rivers, including the marine healing program.”
